Over the years I have made a lot of posters for local events. What's so good about it is the fact I do anything I want, don't have to defend the work against anybody and other people are pasting them all over town.

About the 3 Rooms 1 Big Party posters: I have a love-hate relationship with them. What I hate is the gratitous flashiness, the grey beams and most of all the stupid mascot. What I love about them is the gratitous flashiness and the fact that they served their purpose very well (being = gratitous flashiness).

I chose magenta and yellow:
1. for a recognizable style to be used in the future too
2. to hurt your eyes
I followed the simple logic of digital printing, the more colors are mixed, the less bright and clear they are. CMYK to the max.

2009 - this one was very fun to do. It liberated me from all the rigid grids I tend to use a lot.
